Checking the other side of the record.

I believe in “Nick Danger 3rd Eye” there is a line about needing to check the other side of the record, it then sounds like a record being played backwards / Chinese.

My question is has anyone tried to play that section of the record backwards to see if there were saying anything? If you did what did you find?

Austin contributed to the book and will appear with Oona and (possibly) one or two or three or four of his dogs. (or five) He'll read his piece from the book.

Hi There,

Ok I didn't make the banner or take the case to the Supreme Court. But I did start a tribe for discussing the topic. I imagine this is going to generate some wonderful headlines and hopefully some serious discussion regarding Freedom of Speech and our rights as Citizens of the USA.

Please check out my tribe and consider posting topics to it.

tribes.tribe.net/bonghitsforjesus

Also I am accepting everyone as a friend (so if you are looking to up your friends count...)

Thank you,

Peace

. . . for me, was when i was an undergrad at u. of miami (fl). i remember thinking "these guys are *SO GREAT*!" maybe someday i'll form a fan club . . .

. . . of course, that was a few years short of four decades ago.

i remember driving back from a spelunking trip to northern florida with a girlfriend back then: the radio didn't work, and we spent the entire 4 hour trip doing firesign albums out loud from memory.

and back then, i *had* a memory!

where were you in your life when you first got firesigned?

For those of you in the general vacinity of Seattle, here's an opportunity to see George Leroy Tirebiter 'as himself' in a local production of some Firesign material. This is on Whidbey Island, about 20 miles and a ferry north of Seattle.

I found out about this by getting on the email list at:

==================================
Island Center for the Arts. Tickets are only $12!
http://www.wicaonline.com/calendar.htm

The show is a Double Bill of WAITING FOR THE ELECTRICIAN and DON'T CRUSH THAT DWARF, HAND ME THE PLIERS adapted by David Ossman from the work of the Firesign Theatre. A full-cast, staged production, the 90-minute performance features Orson Ossman as Porgie Tirebiter and "P," the youth who tries to cross the Border in "Electrician." George L. Tirebiter appears as "Himself." An Otherworld Media Production.

Directed by David Ossman. Produced by Judith Walcutt.

CAST
